Carol Nalin brings 30 years of experience supporting and educating the loved ones of clients in residential care for mental and behavioral health concerns. As a Gordon Trained Communication specialist and a seasoned facilitator and trainer, who is certified in Parent Effectiveness Training (PET) and Family Effectiveness Training (FET) and experienced in conflict mediation, Carol strives to establish rapport and assist clients and their loved ones in developing and practicing improved communication skills. As a group facilitator for families, her intention is to pass on skills that improve family dynamics and bring cohesion to the family and relational unit. She sustains her clients' learning through aftercare services and looks forward to hearing from and supporting clients and their loved ones through the transition from residential care back to home and community.

Carol grew up in New York City where she attended Queens College before relocating to Southern California. She presently lives in Los Angeles and has three wonderful, grown children, one remarkable grandson. Carol loves her work, her family, friends, and loyal canine companion, Joey.
