Chris Lang, M.S. Exercise Psychology
Fitness Therapist
Chris Lang has had a great passion to bring healing to people who have been through traumatic and stressful experiences. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology, with a minor in Adult Psychology, and a Master's Degree in Exercise Physiology, with graduate coursework in Exercise Psychology, from California State University. He offers more than 18 years of experience in kinesiology, personal and sports training, and injury recovery as well as personal experience in trauma recovery. His compassion and experience combine with expertise to support clients in physical wellness and mental health recovery. Chris helps clients, including children, professionals, adults and families, find healthy perceptions of themselves and strength in their relationship to self, mind, and body. He has a holistic approach that focuses on safety and form, individualizing exercise plans to each client's interests and needs. In addition to his formal education, Chris has been trained in a range of fitness and exercise modalities that integrate mental wellness, which include Somatic Experiencing and Fitness Therapy. A dedicated father, he enjoys time with his family, coaching youth, and all that life has to offer.
