Dr. Mark Gindi, M.D. (C-138786)

Chief Psychiatrist

Dr. Mark Gindi is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is board certified in adult psychiatry. He received his Doctor of Medicine from Northwestern University where he also completed his psychiatry residency and training. Shortly after graduating, he started a private practice in Chicago where he also held the position as an assistant lecturer in Northwestern University’s Department of Psychiatry. Dr. Gindi has also served as the medical director of the Cathedral Counseling Center, Chicago’s largest privately-run, community mental health center.

Prior to his medical training, he received a Master of Fine Arts degree in Fiction Writing from Columbia University. His work has been published in the Los Angeles Review of Books as well as the Hasting’s Center Report. In addition to his clinical work and publications, he has served as a psychiatric consultant to the Netflix series Maniac.
