Daniel is an Assoicate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT138119) with an MA in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University: Los Angeles. He specialized in LGBT Affirmative Therapy and takes pride in his ability to approach queer issues from a lens of positivity and validation. Daniel's professional journey took him through a formative pre-degree traineeship at APLA Health, an organization renowned for its pioneering of HIV-related care since the onset of the AIDS epidemic.

He continues to enrich his work at Amend Treatment where he finds fulfillment in contributing to the wonderful healing community that Amend has to offer. Daniel is inspired by psychoanalytic perspectives on mental health and enjoys integrating depth psychology with other useful therapeutic modalities such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS). He is a strong believer in the power of self-compassion and self-awareness which he sees as the building blocks to healing and inner peace.
