Matthew Levinson

Director of Hospitality and Executive Chef

Matthew Levinson has been the Director of Hospitality and Executive Chef of Amend Treatment since its opening days. Coming with fifteen years of experience from working in the culinary industry, working in such well revered establishments like Nobu and Hinoki & the Bird, Matthew creates exquisite culinary innovations for those at Amend Treatment to enjoy on the daily. With his long history in the culinary industry, alongside ten years of working in hospitality, Matthew brings his wealth of knowledge to Amend Treatment

Matthew earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts, and Minor in Entrepreneurship from Johnson and Wales University in Denver, Colorado. Matthew has also had extensive culinary and hospitality trainings and honorary degrees from all over the world, including a culinary honorary degree from At-Sunrice University in Singapore and extensive training from the Ritz Carlton. While his initial background work stems primarily in the culinary and hospitality industry, Matthew has found a deep passion for working in mental health and residential care. Since the start of his career with Amend Treatment, Matthew has delved deep into understanding and learning how to best provide a safe and caring environment for the variety of clients that may come to Amend Treatment.

As the Director of Hospitality and Executive Chef, Matthew oversees a team of Chefs who work tirelessly to provide delicious, comforting, and decadent meals for everyone at Amend Treatment to enjoy every day. He also collaborates and works closely alongside the Clinical & Program Director’s to ensure that the program and the properties are running efficiently and excelling. 

Matthew’s passion for food, hospitality, and mental health work harmoniously to provide an exceptional level of care and comfort for everyone that steps foot in Amend Treatment.
