Lead Clinical Assistant

Brandy Hurd is a dedicated Behavioral Health Professional with more than 20 years of experience supporting individuals and families across mental health, substance use treatment, residential care, education, and community-based services. As a Lead Clinical Assistant at Amend Treatment, she is committed to providing compassionate, client-centered care while fostering an environment of growth, accountability, and healing.
Brandy holds an Associate of Science degree and multiple professional certifications in Human Services, Drug and Addiction Studies, and Counseling. She is also certified in WRAP Facilitation, ASAM Criteria, PRO-ACT, Nonviolent Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI/NCPI), HIPAA Compliance, Medication Management, Adult Abuse Awareness, and CPR/First Aid. She is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in psychology with plans to obtain CADC certification and continue her education at the graduate level.
Throughout her career, Brandy has served in leadership and direct-care roles within behavioral health, residential treatment, developmental services, special education, and community support programs. Her professional philosophy is rooted in compassion, empathy, empowerment, and the belief that meaningful change occurs when individuals are supported with dignity, respect, and evidence-based care.
Brandy is passionate about helping others discover their strengths, overcome challenges, and achieve lasting personal growth. She is honored to be part of the Amend Treatment team and remains dedicated to supporting each client’s unique journey toward wellness and healing.
